# The Tap Shop docs

The Tap Shop (thetap.shop) gives cafés, barbers, restaurants and other shops with a counter their own page with their menu, Wi‑Fi, opening hours, reviews and links, and a loyalty card customers keep in Apple or Google Wallet. Staff give stamps by scanning the card with a phone. There is a free plan; Pro and Premium are monthly. Support: hello@thetap.shop.

- [Wi‑Fi](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/wifi.md): Your Wi‑Fi network and password on your page, with a copy button and a QR code a second phone can scan to join. Answers the counter’s most-asked question before it is asked.
- [Posts and videos](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/posts.md): Photos with optional writing, shown as a strip on your page: today’s special, the new cut, the kitchen at 8am. Pro and Premium can post YouTube, TikTok and Vimeo videos too.
- [Music release](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/music.md): One release on your page with its cover and a button for every service it is on. Paste a Spotify, SoundCloud or Deezer link and the title, artist and cover fill in by themselves.
- [Mini games](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/games.md): Games customers play on their phone while they wait: Sudoku, Cross and nuts, Memory match, 2048. No ads, no tracking, in your page’s own design.
- [Shop](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/shop.md): A Shop tab on your page with products you link to: your own online store, gift vouchers, merch. Paste a product link and we try to fetch its title and picture.
- [Selling digital products](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/selling.md): Selling files, guides and presets from your shop is being prepared for Pro and Premium. It is not open yet; the fee and the lowest listing price will be published before it opens.
- [Sharing, QR code and poster](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/sharing.md): Your page link, a QR code in your brand colour and a poster laid out to print for your counter or window. Publish when you are ready and update the page any time without reprinting.
- [Analytics](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/analytics.md): How many people open your page, which buttons they tap, how many save your contact, and where they came from. Counted without cookies, so nobody sees a banner.
- [Wallet contact card](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/wallet-card.md): An Add to Wallet button that saves your business card to Apple or Google Wallet, with your name, logo and a link back to your page. It sits beside boarding passes, so you are there the next time they need you.
- [Loyalty cards](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/loyalty.md): A stamp card your customers keep in Apple or Google Wallet. Staff scan it at the till and press once per stamp, and the last stamp gives them a reward to use on the spot. Nobody downloads an app.
- [Loyalty tiers](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/tiers.md): Regulars climb tiers you name, such as Bronze, Silver and Gold, by the rewards they have earned. Each tier can need fewer stamps, carry a perk and change the card’s colour.
- [Staff app and phones](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/staff.md): A web app at thetap.shop/staff with three screens: Shop, Scan and My QR. Pair a staff phone or the till iPad with one scan and it can give stamps without your password.
- [Team pages](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/team.md): A page for each person who works with you at thetap.shop/your-name/their-name, in your look. You create it, they claim it and keep their own details up to date.
- [Tags](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/tags.md): Things customers tap with their phone to open your page, leave a review or collect a stamp: Review stand £29 (2 for £49), Loyalty tap £39, Business card £9, Keychain £6. We set each one up before posting it.
- [Plans and billing](https://thetap.shop/docs/feature/billing.md): Free is the whole product and stays free. Pro and Premium add room and extras, paid monthly by card through Stripe, and you can cancel any time.
