# Loyalty tiers

Regulars climb tiers you name, such as Bronze, Silver and Gold, by the rewards they have earned. Each tier can need fewer stamps, carry a perk and change the card’s colour.

## Set it up

1. Scroll to Tiers at the bottom of Loyalty cards.
2. Rename the starting tiers or add your own.
3. Open a tier to set its stamps, perk and colour, then save.

## What customers see

## Limits and downgrades

If Premium lapses, cards show as plain cards until it is back.

## Questions

- [How do loyalty tiers work?](https://thetap.shop/docs/loyalty-tiers.md): On Premium, a loyalty card climbs tiers you name, such as Bronze, Silver and Gold, by the number of rewards the customer has earned. Each tier can show its name, need fewer stamps per reward, give a perk staff honour at the till, and use its own card colour. Moving up sends the customer a wallet notification.
