# How do I hide or delete a link?

Open the link in Links and switch it off to hide it: it stays saved and simply stops showing, ready to switch back on. Delete removes it for good.

Hiding suits anything seasonal, like a Christmas menu or an event that comes back every year. If one of your [NFC tags](https://thetap.shop/docs/change-where-a-tag-points) points at a link you hide or delete, the tag opens your page instead, so it never dead-ends.
