Putting your menu and the 14 allergens online

24 October 2026 · 5 min read

A menu customers can read on their phone, with allergens they can filter by, kept up to date without reprinting anything.

UK law names 14 allergens a food business must be able to tell customers about: celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, soya and sulphites. The question “does this have nuts in it?” is one every counter hears.

Type it, or upload what you have

You can type your menu in sections and items, each with a price, a description, a photo and options such as oat milk with their own price. Or upload the PDF or photo of the menu you already have. You can do both: a photo shows above the typed menu, and a PDF opens in a new tab.

Let customers filter

Tick the allergens each item contains. Customers can then hide anything containing an allergen they avoid, and the menu always asks them to tell staff about an allergy before they order. The ticks are only as right as what you enter, so check them whenever a recipe changes.

Keep it current

Sold out of something? Mark it Sold out and it shows greyed. Off for the season? Mark it Hidden and it leaves the menu until you bring it back. Nothing to reprint, and every QR code you have already put out shows the new version.

The menu is on every plan, the free one included. See every menu option.
