How do loyalty tiers work?
On Premium, a loyalty card climbs tiers you name, such as Bronze, Silver and Gold, by the number of rewards the customer has earned. Each tier can show its name, need fewer stamps per reward, give a perk staff honour at the till, and use its own card colour. Moving up sends the customer a wallet notification.
Set them at the bottom of Loyalty cards. You can have up to five, and the first always starts at zero rewards. They start as New, Bronze after 1 reward, Silver after 3 and Gold after 6, and every name and number can be changed.
- Fewer stamps: a tier can need fewer stamps than your usual number, but never fewer than 3.
- Perk: one line, such as “Free size upgrade”, shown to the customer and to staff after a scan.
- Colour: the card turns that colour in their wallet when they reach the tier.
A tier never drops. A card that expires from not being used starts again at the first tier. If your plan lapses, cards show as plain cards until Premium is back.
